Nick focuses his practice on estate and trust litigation, estate planning, business representation, and real estate disputes.
He has experience litigating probate issues, including will contests and trust disputes. These cases often involve claims of undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity, or a breach of fiduciary duty by an executor or trustee. He has successfully handled these issues at the probate court and at the appellate court level.
Nick frequently creates estate plans and succession plans for individuals and businesses. For individuals, this often involves creating a last will and testament, durable power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney, living will, transfer on death designation affidavit, and living trusts. For businesses, this involves evaluating the business and putting together the best plan to achieve your goals for the business upon your death.
He also represents a variety of small businesses and handles various transactions and negotiations including the creation or winding down of a business, the purchase or sale of a business, and the collection of outstanding debts. Many of Nick’s business clients include real estate investment businesses.
Nick also assists with real estate disputes including representing landlords in evictions and tenant issues, disputes arising from the purchase of real estate, boundary disputes, and enforcing easements.
